Well finally got the vehicle swapped around so I could do a post-race inspection on the Nova. I swapped the slicks for the street Mickey Thompson tires and noticed puddles of fluid on the inside of the right rear wheel. Further inspection showed the the 4 bolts holding the axle fl**ge to the differential (c-clip eliminators for those in the know) had come a little loose. Tightened those and then found a wheel stud had backed out. 14 passes on a no-prep track takes its toll.

So this slight droop to get under the bed crossmember in the gas filler line I think may be what's causing it to burp ba...

So this slight droop to get under the bed crossmember in the gas filler line I think may be what's causing it to burp back and have to fill really slow. So I'm thinking of notching the cross member and putting the filler pipe up flat against the bottom of the bed if I can. Any ideas? I just raised the breather hose as high as I could but haven't tried to fill it up to see if that made any difference

Well after a week long cruise to Alaska and Victoria, I've been pretty sick this past week with COVID and strepped throat. So no work got finished. Trying to work on the Camaro fuel pressure and some tuning this week. Still haven't cleaned the Nova or test drive it to see if the trans is still acting up. Headers are still uncooked. Have to go to Spokane General Store for collector gaskets.

Front end back together except for the spoiler. Had to rework the custom hood latch handle that came with the grill kit....

Front end back together except for the spoiler. Had to rework the custom hood latch handle that came with the grill kit. The handle wouldn't disengage the safety latch. Spoiler and billet hood scoops next.
