Y’all remember the car we affectionately named “the buster”, well it’s getting some upgrades and we’re super pumped to show everyone what we’re doing. First off it’s getting a fresh oem head gasket and a dual ball bearing gt3070r but we’re keeping the smaller back housing in hopes of a lower spool time. Also going in the trans is a phantom grip diff loc, never used one before but we’re gonna try it out and hopefully make a showing with this car this Saturday at KD Motorsports Park for this weeks midnight madness race in the front wheel drive class. if your curious as to how this car will do or some of the parts we have installed follow us for updates

Just because it's fast don't mean it's gotta be ugly blaga's 97' sedan with an in-house but h22 on a whiff of the giggle juice surely isn't with his str wheels wrapped in only toyo rubber, ripping gears with a beautiful k tuned billet shifter with matching cables heading out to race tm night, gotta get some testing in before we go!

Things to check before a tune; this is our opinion.

1.) Fluids, I.E. Engine oil trans fluid, brake fluid levels and quality car needs a oil change do it! If you are unsure change it anyways

2.) Spark plugs same as fluids should be fresh and if conditions are unknown, then they should be changed also and gapped appropriately if unsure take new plugs with you.

3.) Do a nut and bolt check. Alot of times we are hammering away on these cars to get them done, a through nut and bolt check can save the day, I.E. axel nuts torqued and staked! Lug nuts should be torqued and if possible not aluminum on hondas the crank pulley should have loctite of some sort and torqued to spec.

4.) Fuel level, atleast half tp 3/4 tank if not a full one.

5.) Plug wires rotor cap rotor button timing belt and mechanical timing, these are maintenance items and should be serviced

6.) Valve lash should be set to engine specifications.

7.) Intercooler pipping and couplers, these can be pesky, joints should be bead rolled and proper clamps and couplers used, no one likes to be in the middle of a run and have to stop to fix a pipe it's time consuming.

Once again these are just some helpful hints from some people who have had quite a bit of time spent on a dyno, if it helps you let us know!

Glad we could help a good customer and a return customer, Matt had us build a b18a1 stock block in a eg hatch but she got sold, so when matt brought us his ek sedan with. Rod piston b16 and our turbo kit we jumped at the chance to work for Matt again! Reliable lasting horsepower is what we strive for.
