The 1966 Bill Thomas Cheetah profiled by Mark R. Brinker is believed to be the final Cheetah constructed. Commissioned without a drivetrain in November ’65 by Eddie King, street-registered in Ohio, and later shown at Pebble Beach, The Quail, and McCall’s Motorworks Revival. Finished in red with gullwing doors and a clamshell hood, it packs a front mid-mounted 377-ci Chevrolet V8 with Rochester fuel injection, a 4-speed, magnesium knockoffs, and four-wheel drums.
This car, Lot 237331, sold for $527,500 on Bring a Trailer (April 14, 2026), underscoring continued demand for significant American racing specials with strong documentation.

Alpine White, option 471 Sport Group, and a period Holbert Racing widebody that turns a 924 Turbo into a serious back-road and track-day tool. This 1980 example was widened by Paterek Brothers in 1983, later fitted with a Carrera GT–spec 6.10 K26 turbo, PWR air-water intercooler, Audi 5000 throttle body, and B&B stainless cat-back. Provenance includes long-term PCA ownership and a stint with Magnus Walker. Details that matter: L*D, Koni dampers, BBS wheels, green-face gauges, in-cabin boost controller, and a Mario Andretti–signature MOMO wheel.
In our July issue, we analyze where period widebody 924 Turbos fit in today’s transaxle market and what to inspect before you bid. Subscribers can read the full profile online.

ORECA-built. Race-proven. This 1999 Chrysler Viper GTS-R (Works chassis C20) delivered the full trifecta twice in 1999 FIA GT; pole, fastest lap, and victory. First at Hockenheim 500km and again at Watkins Glen with Jean-Philippe Belloc and David Donohue. It also led an ORECA 1–2 at Budapest and finished 2nd overall in the season standings.

Wearing its red/white/blue Mobil 1 livery, C20 runs an 8.0L aluminum OHV V10 with MoTeC management, Brembo brakes, adjustable coil-overs, 18-inch OZ Racing wheels, Sparco seat with six-point harness, and a MoTeC digital dash. Now offered on dealer consignment in Emeryville, CA with FFSA Passport and documentation.

From a red-with-white-coves BJ7 at Healey 50 to Healey 75 on June 6–12, 2027—Keith Martin is weighing how to get there. In 2002 it was a convoy, cold-morning chokes, and that unforgettable big-six soundtrack… plus a fan-belt lesson learned the hard way.
Today it’s a 600-mile run from Portland to Lake Tahoe with 700+ Healeys already registered. Drive the Healey, trailer it, or just take the Porsche. What would you choose?

Inside Plymouth’s factory-backed fantasy: the 1970 ’Cuda 440 Rapid Transit Show Car. Built by custom legend Chuck Miller with styling by Hot Wheels pioneer Harry Bradley, this early-production E-body (serial no. 100005) toured the 1970–71 Rapid Transit System Caravan, wore steel-formed body mods, and still carries its original lacquer finish. Its 440 Six Barrel driveline is believed intact since new, and the odometer shows under 1,000 miles. Details like the Cibié headlamps behind a mesh grille, Cragar wheels, side pipes, and chrome show wheelie bars (found in the trunk with the original show sign) make this one-of-one Mopar a benchmark for provenance and period craftsmanship.
SCM’s free feature traces its show-car life, Miller’s updates, and why provenance like this moves the market for top-spec E-bodies.

A Nero Daytona Enzo with Rosso interior doesn’t come along often. Delivered new via Charles Pozzi in Paris to its first owner in Toulouse, this 2004 Ferrari Enzo is one of just 12 specified in Nero Daytona, and believed to be only one of three paired with a red cabin. Sparingly used and well documented, it shows just 9,491 km, with Ferrari Francorchamps service stamps (2009 and 2021) and a 2017 invoice (€10,081). A light scrape led to a factory-authorized respray of the right rear wing; otherwise, it spent years on static display in the late owner’s hobby room.
