A little behind the scenes at AAD 👋

Last wee, I had the opportunity to do a trade talk for Les Schwab Tire Center - NE Columbia blvd location at the Portland Executives Association meeting.

Being part of the Portland business community is about more than just growing AAD — it’s about building relationships, supporting other local businesses, and continuing to grow as a business owner.

Bird p**p isn’t always “just a wash.” 💩🚗

If it sits on your paint too long, it can etch into the clear coat to the point where cleaning alone won’t remove it.

This one required machine polishing and cutting before we finally got it out.

⚠️ The takeaway: Remove bird droppings as soon as possible. The longer they sit, the higher the risk of permanent paint damage.

Protect your paint before a small problem turns into an expensive one.

Don't mistake these sticky spots for tree sap. 🌳🐜

This is aphid honeydew—a sticky residue that can bake into your paint and damage your clear coat if left too long. If you notice it, don't wait. The sooner it's removed, the better.
