Charles and Letha Hartsell opened up their first business in 1962. It was a Douglas Service Station at the corner of Olive and Cottage Street. It was a repair shop , full service gas station, and a 24 hour service station; the only 24 hour service station around. In 1967, Charles bought his first tow truck, a 1959 Studabaker. In 1978, he bought Hula Car Wash and the AAA Towing Contract Station, wh

ich included three tow trucks. After serving the Porterville community for many years, Charles passed away in 2010. Gregory Cozel Hartsell, Chuck’s son, and his wife Danae Hartsell, took over the business in August 2011. The company now services Porterville and surrounding communities with six tow trucks and a service truck. President and Secretary of Greg’s Hula Towing, Inc. are Greg and Danae Hartsell. They have been married fifteen years and have seven amazing children. Greg enjoys the mountains and hunting and Danae enjoys reading and the beach. Greg and Danae love serving the community through their business and are constantly looking for ways to bless others.
