This customer brought in a pre-owned Tacoma he wanted assessed. Our technician found a leaking power steering rack, a rear transmission mount that needed replacing, an oxidizing serpentine belt, and tires that were dry rotted and choppy.

Taking care of these will make his Tacoma ride better and safer, and help it keep the longevity Tacomas are known for. 🔧

On the left: a good battery. On the right: one that’s showing signs of corrosion.

Here are a few things to look out for when checking your battery 🔋:

- White or blue-green buildup around the battery terminals as shown
- Corroded or loose connections
- Slow cranking when you start your vehicle
- A battery that’s getting old or struggling to hold a charge

Trail vehicles can take a little extra abuse from bumps and vibrations, so it’s worth giving your battery a look before heading out. And of course, these checks are important for any vehicle!

This customer came in with a creaking noise caused by a worn lower spherical bushing in the coilover that needed lubrication.
