A breakdown during a road trip or weekend getaway leaves drivers dealing with repairs in an unfamiliar area. Our light duty team provides towing and flatbed transport to a safe location and on to a repair shop, along with jump starts and fuel delivery when a vehicle can be restarted.

Having a reliable towing provider helps travelers get their vehicle taken care of and return to their plans.

Halloween brings a lot of foot traffic to neighborhood streets after dark. Please drive slowly, use your headlights, and watch for children crossing between houses. Taking it easy for one evening can make a big difference for a family out enjoying the holiday.

Happy Halloween, everyone.

Saturday, October 17 is National Slow Down Move Over Day.

From Savannah to Brunswick, Sapp's Wrecker Service operators work beside I-95 and I-16 in every kind of weather. When you see a tow truck, patrol car or road crew with lights flashing, move over a lane if it's safe. If you can't, slow down.

A few seconds of your attention protects someone's life.

When a large commercial vehicle ends up in a position that a standard heavy wrecker cannot safely resolve, a rotator is what changes the outcome. The 360 degree boom rotation and variable lift angles a rotator provides give our team recovery options that match the actual position of the vehicle rather than requiring the vehicle to be in a convenient position for the equipment.

Our team deploys rotator equipment for the complex recoveries on Savannah area roads and coastal Georgia routes that demand it, approaching every job with a clear plan before anything is attached or moved.

For complex heavy vehicle recovery in coastal Georgia, our team is equipped to handle it.

Proud of our own Casey for representing Sapp's Wrecker Service at the TIME Task Force Convention in Columbus, GA. Events like this are important for our industry and it is great to have members of our team at the table, sharing knowledge and contributing to the conversations that move towing and recovery forward.

Thank you Casey for representing us well.

How does a towing company stay operational when a major storm hits?

Preparation. Sapp's Wrecker Service pre-stages equipment, confirms operator protocols, and ensures our team is sheltered before conditions deteriorate. We do not put operators on the road in unsafe conditions. We position everything so we can respond the moment roads are clear.

When a storm passes through Savannah, Brunswick, Richmond Hill, and the surrounding coastal area, our goal is to be among the first recovery teams out there.

Working around a port means working around a schedule that does not have much flexibility, and businesses in the Savannah area that move raw materials, fabricated components, and industrial equipment regularly need a hauling partner that understands that and shows up ready.

We handle materials hauling and large component transport throughout coastal Georgia and on outbound routes that carry loads to destinations across the country. Our team knows the access requirements and timing that come with port-adjacent work and we build every haul around them so our customers are not dealing with delays that could have been avoided.

If your business moves materials on a regular basis, our team is the partner that keeps up with you.

A vehicle that will not run still has somewhere it needs to go, and our team in Savannah handles non-running vehicle transport for drivers and vehicle owners who need a car, truck, or SUV moved to a repair facility or another destination without being able to drive it there.

We load and transport non-running vehicles carefully so we can deliver them to wherever you need. Whether that is a local shop, a specialty mechanic, or your home.

For non-running vehicle transport, give our team a call.
