An unfortunate hit and run accident occurred to our loyal customer’s new Denim Blue Volvo XC60 B5 Ultra AWD. A vehicle with some structural damage, a crushed right rear door and broken glass left here for repairs as their Repair Shop of Choice. They may have been told not to get into a rental, to go another shop, and to allow the damage appraisal away from the chosen repair facility. An estimate was determined by the insurance company listing used/salvage parts and also missing the damage to the inner quarter pillar. A delay ensued. After our handling of the claim repairs, the insurance company completed a supplement to allow for all new Original Volvo parts and repair procedures. Every part down to the clips/rivets ordered from Volvo, all parts removed and re-installed both for repair/refinish access. Now it’s back to pre-loss condition, safe to drive, and detailed to perfection. It’s important to note that all required sensor calibration and alignment procedures were completed prior to the detailing. Our thanks to our customer for their trust in our services.

Before and after of our expert in-house detailing and touch ups on a new Tesla Model 3. Some critical steps: vacuuming, interior thoroughly cleaned with specialized products, exterior pre-washed, clay bar to clean contaminants, polished, polished again, washed, washed again, final hand glaze and buff. Now on to the challenge to keep it all pollen & dust free for the grand reveal! Thanks for the support!

Here’s another example of the before, during, and after of a proper auto body/collision repair process at Haven Auto Body. Some of our tasks: cleaning vehicle prior to damage appraisal, digital measuring of structure, blueprinting/researching procedures, all new Original Mercedes Benz parts ordered, insurance claim handled, new parts mirror-matched to original, supplement items handled with insurance, test fit parts, proper PPG refinish of new and adjacent parts, reassembly, expert full detailing after wheel alignment & sensor calibrations. Hello Everyone! Here’s a peek at a very fun car that we’ve had the chance to work on. A 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth came for some minor repairs & detailing. We re-secured some moldings, repaired/repainted the four wheels, and performed our specialized detailing in-house. Expert sanding, polishing and wax/glaze application performed with all high quality materials and tools. It was easy to move and fit this special compact car around our busy shop! Can’t express how much of a blast this car is! It was an employee and fan favorite. Thanks to our loyal customer’s trust in us. Best wishes!

Here’s a recent repair on a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid Limited AWD that sustained a front end collision. The insurance company told our customer to go to their affiliated/partnered repair shop. Our customer stated that they had a shop of choice (as per NYS reg), Haven Auto Body- a Hyundai Certified Collision Repair Center. The customer was then asked to submit photos, which resulted in a very low initial estimate from an app that did not account for any hidden internal/structural damages. The vehicle was taken apart, blueprinted/measured to have the insurance company come down to revise their estimate. All new Hyundai replacement parts utilized (even down to the clips and fluids) along with Hyundai repair procedures on this Plug-in Hybrid. It was reassembled after paint, all sensors calibrated after the wheel alignment. This vehicle is equipped with: distance, collision avoidance, camera and parking sensors that all need to be adjusted and calibrated after any repair. Then it’s back to our detail department for a full detail. It’s now safe again & looking like new for our valued customer. Please know that you have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice and that virtual photo estimates cannot account for the full scope of damages on your car.

We still suggest making an appointment to review damages, take photos, have a consultation, research parts/repair methods-all to work on a proper repair estimate for you. This all does take time to prepare. This process may likely start all over when an insurance company may provide their own estimate (based on photos or preliminary physical inspection.) Often, the estimate may not reflect any hidden damage. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE THE REPAIR SHOP OF YOUR CHOICE. Photo app estimates do not always account for the full scope of damages and/or repair. Working on resolving the estimate amount versus the actual repair cost does take additional time. Hello Everyone! We’ve been very busy thanks to the support of our loyal customers in the community. Here’s a before, during, and after demo of our work on a new Lexus RX 350 Premium. It sustained significant damage to the front end. We started with blueprinting the repair process along with measuring/squaring the front unibody with our Car-O-Liner Vision System. We replaced the front bolt on parts, front parking/distance sensors, radiator support and all cooling items. We performed a test fit before applying the PPG Three Stage Eminent White Pearl finish to all parts off the vehicle. Next: reassembly, wheel alignment, calibration of parking and distance/ collision avoidance sensors. It’s important to note that often a brand new vehicle will have some gap and color match issues new from the factory. We do our very best to match or exceed factory specifications. The test drive/s went well and we detailed it extensively in-house. This Lexus looks great! Most importantly, it’s safe again. Thank you for your support of our small business!

Another “before, in-process, and after post.”Let’s talk Insurance photo app estimating! Downloaded apps or emailed photos are known as a very easy, quick, and efficient way of assessing collision damage. Here’s a KIA Telluride SX AWD damage claim that was estimated virtually by the insurance company (before our shop was chosen for the repair.) It called for the replacement of the outer “skin” panel of the rear door versus a replacement of the entire door shell. The door shell’s inner safety reinforcements were bent, buckled and distorted. The quarter panel was buckled behind the door and pushed inwards. Something that you could not see before taking things apart. Its ability to be a safe vehicle and sustain any another collision before this repair-was compromised. Many repair and replace items were missed via the apps photos and it did take time to demonstrate that all to the adjuster in person. We waited approximately a week for someone to come down in person to adjust the initial estimate. Ultimately, the original estimate was only 36% of was what needed to properly repair this vehicle at our KIA Certified Collision Repair facility. All new OEM KIA parts, hardware and repair procedures were utilized. Happy to say it was repaired nicely, detailed and then delivered to our satisfied customers.
