Prayer Up 🙌 for Our Troops and their families Treasure Coast Bikers

Lord, protect them!
Place Your hand over them in every operation, every movement, and every moment of uncertainty. Shield them from harm. Give them alert minds, steady hands, and sound judgment under pressure.

Strengthen them physically and mentally. When fear rises, give them courage. When exhaustion sets in, give them endurance. When they feel isolated, remind them they are not alone.

Be with their families back home. Calm their fears. Give them peace as they wait and pray. Surround them with support and comfort.

Guide the leaders making decisions that impact these lives. Grant wisdom, clarity, and restraint.

We ask for protection.
We ask for strength.
We ask for safe return.

Bring our troops home safely, Lord.

Today, we honor and remember the life and service of Sergeant Gary Morales.

Sergeant Morales joined the Sheriff’s Office in October 2000 and served with distinction in various assignments, including the School Resource Unit, Special Investigations Unit, SWAT Team, where he served as the lead sniper, the Training Unit, and Uniform Patrol.

In January 2013, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to Uniform Patrol. On the morning of February 28, 2013, Sergeant Morales conducted a traffic stop on a suspect just south of Fort Pierce following a brief pursuit. Before he could exit his vehicle, the suspect fatally shot him.

In honor of his dedication, sacrifice, and passion for training, the Sheriff’s Office training facility was renamed the Sergeant Gary Morales Training Complex. His legacy continues to guide and inspire those who serve.
