🚨 Currently inspecting a 2026 Columbus 384RKH and ran into a situation that stopped us from completing a full inspection.

Upon arrival everything worked. When we put a demand on the battery, everything shut off and battey voltage plummeted.

🔧 On this unit, that’s a bigger deal than most people realize—because it’s equipped with a pass-through inverter.

👉 Even when hooked up to shore power, this system relies on a working battery to allow proper power flow of AC power.

⚠️ What this means:
120V outlets, appliances, and systems could not be fully verified
Potential issues can go undetected
Buyer isn’t getting a complete picture of the RV’s condition

💡 Bottom line:
This is a brand new 2026, and something as simple as a dead battery can limit a full inspection.

That’s why we document not only what we find—but also what can’t be tested and why.
