Cruisin' Sunday

Cruisin' Sunday Annual Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show hosted by Christian Life Center.

Cruisin’ Sunday Car, Truck, and Bike Show and Cruise for Food Drive is an annual event put on by Christian Life Center of Port Orchard, Washington in August. This is a completely free community event that attracts over 5,000 people to an atmosphere of fun under the sun. Those who attend are able to enjoy free root beer floats, hamburgers, hot dogs, Coke products, door prizes, awards, big inflatabl

e kid’s toys/rides, and over 350 beautiful show vehicles all to the sounds of Rock N’ Roll classics. It is a great time for family and friends but at the same time, this event benefits the Kitsap County Community with our Annual Food Drive for families in need of a helping hand. Cruisin’ Sunday is about being part of our community and establishing a relationship with our neighbors. This is all made possible by help from our local and national sponsors who team up with Christian Life Center each year.

Here is the new artwork by Mike Yapps for this year’s Cruisin’ Sunday theme! These vehicles displayed in the artwork are winners at our event last year, which was packed with 470 beautiful vehicles.

Special note:
We won't be sending out postcards this year to remind you about the event on August 30, 2026. This change allows us to stay within our budget and allocate funds to keep delivering the event you enjoy. Please help spread the word. Below you'll find the information that would normally appear on our postcards.

We are thrilled to host this event for free, despite escalating costs, so that everyone can enjoy a fantastic day.

Participation remains entirely free for you to enjoy, but a donation box will be set up at the registration booth. And while a $10 donation would be greatly appreciated it’s not required.

Registration will be conducted onsite at the event from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM—no pre-registration online or by phone. Early risers can look forward to Starbucks Coffee, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Panera Bagels, and Crumble Cookies available during check-in.

We encourage attendees to contribute nonperishable food items to our Cruise-for-Food-Drive by bringing food items to support the South Kitsap Helpline Community Food Bank. For detailed guidelines on what to bring, please visit our website at “cruisinsunday.com.”

The Award Ceremony is slated to begin around 2:00 PM, rounding off a wonderful day of festivities. Mark your calendars for August 30, 2026, and join us for a day filled with fun, community spirit, and generosity.

For any questions, reach out to us at [email protected] or call 360-876-5595. Remember, there is No overnight parking. The parking lot opens at 5 AM for Show Cars.
See you there!

Thanks,
Larry

Preparations are underway for our 2026 summertime community event, marking the 29th annual gathering, scheduled for August 30, 2026. We extend our gratitude to all who participated last year and contributed to the ongoing success of this valued tradition. The event, known as the Cruisin’ Sunday Car, Truck, & Bike Show (Cruise-For-Food-Drive), will be held at the Christian Life Center in Port Orchard, WA. Each year, this event experiences continued growth; in the previous year, we welcomed over 470 stunning show vehicles and more than 5,000 attendees.

Here’s a preview of Mike Yapps’ rough draft for this year’s artwork theme. Every vehicle in the drawing was featured at our show. You might notice Myhre’s Café/Restaurant from downtown Port Orchard—some of you may even remember having your first date there years ago. I wanted to revive its memory in the artwork, especially since Myhre’s was damaged by a fire long ago and has not been restored yet.

Additional details about this great community event in Port Orchard will be provided as the event date gets closer.

What a Summer Day to remember!

A Cruisin’ Sunday recap video is now available; not all vehicles, winners, or individuals involved are featured due to length constraints. Winner lists and additional photographs will be posted on the website later. Archived artwork and vehicle galleries from previous years are also available on our website “cruisinsunday.com”.

Cruisin’ Sunday 2025 drew over 470 show vehicles and more than 5,000 attendees. We had many sponsor door prizes and vendor giveaways that were provided for participants and attendees. By 11:30 a.m., 964 Krispy Kreme doughnuts, 200 Crumbl Cookies, Panera Bagels, and more than 30 gallons of Starbucks coffee had been consumed. With perfect timing the BBQ lunch began at noon, offering hamburgers, hot dogs, assorted condiments, chips, Coca-Cola products, and root beer floats. The music group “The Shy Boys” performed live rock and roll.

Acknowledgement is given to all the hard-working volunteers, staff, and sponsors for help in organizing and supporting the event. Thanks are extended to Pastor Brent and his volunteer kids’ team, Fathoms of Fun Queens and Princesses, and the South Kitsap Fire Department for facilitating children’s activities and providing a fun fire engine experience. Additional recognition goes to “Pastor Virgil and Angela” for their support, as well as the South Kitsap School District Grounds Maintenance Crew for preparing the field.
Appreciation is extended to the City of Port Orchard for street cleaning, and to the Mayor and Police Chief for attending the event.

While not all sponsor names are listed here, the complete list can be found on our official event poster on this page and on the website, cruisinsunday.com, which also provides sponsor links to their website.
Thank you once again “Everyone” for your support, and please enjoy the event recap.
