We are ready to take bookings on Northstar 4.0 and 4.6L Engines in Port Huron, MI. Starting out with the front wheel drive cars, 1993-2011.
If you pull the engine, strap it to a pallet or put it in a crate, we will handle everything else: Freight pickup, the repairs, and the shipping back to you.
Pricing for a complete re-seal (all gaskets top to bottom, Suregrip Head Studs, new primary tensioner included) is $3500. Freight is additional.
We expect most freight quotes to be $250-350 per direction, in the lower 48 states.
If you can pull your engine or have your technician do it, put it in a crate, we will take care of the rest.
$750 deposit required. Balance due before the engine ships back to you.
In the event that the engine is deemed irrepairable, for any reason during disassembly, we will not charge you diagnostics. We will only charge the shipping to us, and back, if you want it returned.
This re-seal service will NOT address oil consumption from worn rings. If your car is consuming a lot of oil, schedule it for a rebuild.
If you want to reserve your place in line, go through the order process in the link in the comments. We will reply with a ship quote and wait for your authorization before we bill your card. $750 is only billed once you agree on shipping costs to/from. The balance due before the engine is sent back.
This service is available to repair shops too. If you want to help your customer but don't want the headache of repairing the engine, this is an option for you.
