Students are already searching for an internship for next summer.
(Psst...give this a like if that's you or you know someone who is.)
It's highly competitive and the best of the best get locked in early.
But we've found that a good majority of those students tend to land at a big company and then walk away at the end of the summer feeling like they could've grown more.
Our VP of Engineering and Intern Academy Leader, Brandon Bartneck, has lived this experience, and he encourages students to dig deeper when searching for internships.
His advice is to look beyond the company name and job description and ask companies for examples of what previous interns actually worked on, how much ownership they were give, what support they received, and how they grew through the experience.
Brandon's article below is worth reading before the application process gets too far along. Once you do, consider applying to join us next summer.
