I have posted in the past about people believing that if they post negative reviews or threaten to post, they can "extort" money and or services. Unfortunately once again we have had to respond this blatant extortion practice! I find myself trying to keep a positive mindset that maybe they just need some extra holiday shopping money or possibly they are just facing personal challenges which drives them to try this charade. I do not cower to this type of behavior nor will I ever "just pay them" so that they will just go away! I have run my shop for 16 years and have always strived to provide quality and value for our services with a commitment to customer service and will continue even when dealing with these type of people! Fortunately my attorney is also a long-time customer and is very familiar with my business practices and I would rather pay for his time than give these scammers a penny! I have learned that the legal system provides for people who create malicious and false accusations including "fake or misleading" reviews. I am grateful that this has only happened to me 2 or 3 times and that I have an attorney that truly enjoys dealing with this type of "extortion"!
