We will only be taking in 10 participants per class so RSVP quickly! Our last class sold out within 3 days. We will be meeting at the shop Oct 17th at 1pm. To get on the list message us here on Facebook. Snacks will be provided!
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO Anderson Mobile Mechanics, LLC. Thanks to their generous sponsorship we are able to offer this class for free!
After our initial post about the courses and rational behind them the owners of Anderson Mobile Mechanics LLC reached out to us to collaborate through sponsorship. They really felt compelled to be a part of our mission and did not even care about receiving recognition for their generosity. That kind of caring is unique in this industry and is essential to the core values that we have maintained in our business. We are proud to have them be a part of our mission.

Please share so we can get the word out!

This car came in with 5 different codes! The parts cannon had been thrown at it and was out of ammo! Hundreds on guessing for a blown PCV diaphragm. Codes very rarely define the exact problem and even when they do you still need to test to confirm! In a newer vehicle code definitions may not even be accurate and codes can be set by problems not even associated with what the code definition says. Scanners do not tell you what is wrong they give you an avenue to start testing. Test don’t guess!

More quality control examples! This is a power probe thats out of warranty but not that old. I take good care of my tools especially my electrical equipment. One day it acted like it shorted out and just went dead! I bought a new one because I was convinced it was smoked! Finally got around to tearing it apart and guess what i find. The insulation on the wires was stripped to far back from the factory! After using it a while it twisted itself internally and shorted right were the power cable attaches to the circuit board! I was able to repair it and get it working again! Now I have 2!🤷‍♂️

We have new bay doors! Finally we are getting rid of those heavy barn doors! We can not explain how excited we are! Special thanks to Will @ Aldrich Builders for framing the doors and siding the front! Will has been a close friend of mine for over 30 years! He is an amazing carpenter and quality person! Also big thanks to M&P doors for the door install!
PS; we are waiting on metal to finish the siding thats why there is open framing in the picture!

Working on the rolls royce silver shadow today repalcing rear axles. We pulled the boot back to inspect the grease from the rebuilt axle and it was basically nonexistent? Almost 500$ per axle from England. I am glad we checked before installing or this thing would have been back with a problem in no time!
This is not an uncommon issue anymore! Quality control on parts has been sub par at best! On multiple occasions we have had to order 2-3 of the same part to ensure we get quality. We do not sell cheap parts only name brands so this is a manufacturer quality control issue!
Just a little bit of what happens behind the scenes that customers may not understand. As shop owners we are having to take extra steps to make sure the vehicles are repaired properly. Of course when it leaves my shop it will be right and tight as always!

Well it looks like we have enough interested parties for the classes! We also have another shop owner who would like to be involved indirectly wich is wonderful! I will put together a learning criteria asap and get some dates posted! At that time we will announce all involved businesses and individuals. In the meantime please feel free to post suggestions on what you would like to learn so I can develop additional classes! Thank you all for your interest! We look forward to further serving our community!

I have been thinking about offering some classes specifically targeted towards women and new drivers. These will be classes that will help you understand the basics of your vehicle and how to check certain things yourself. I will also cover roadside safety along with multiple other things. My goal is to help young drivers and women stay informed because I feel like those are the demographic that often get taken advantage of. If this is something that interests you leave a comment or reach out to me. If I have enough people, then I will offer the courses at a very limited cost. Most likely will be $25 per person and it would be about a four hour course depending on the amount of people. If people show interest, I may do some advanced courses as well.
