I actually enjoy working on vintage gear boxes. That is until they do this.
This 1946 T90C has less than 1000 miles on it with all NOS parts. The synchros are ground to a pulp. Good thing i had another in line just waiting for paint. I guess ill pit this one back in whil I do an autopsy.

Heres an original rotor from 1984 Toyota p/u. Finally got thjn enough for the pistons to pop out of the caliper. If that hadn’t happened it would have probably still been on the road.

I was able to salvage the electric clutch and rewire it. Straightened out bent pulleys and belt guides. Back to mowing for a $3.19 bolt and a couple hours of work.

1st try at mowing and the electric pto clutch went off like a gr***de! Broke the crankshaft bolt and bent the snot out if all the belt guides. Good thing it all stayed under the mower and didn’t get the camera girl or myself!!!!

Got this mower a while back. Not running. Mower deck half disconnected.
After a 1/2 a days work and a couple small parts it tuns great and drives smooth. Now to get the deck spinning. It’s locked up. Missing belts and pins.

Gave this engine a bath in prep for new VC gasket.
The HEI was the 2nd best mod to this 258. Too bad they sent a red cap.
1st place goes to jettisoning the OE carter carb. The weber is way better. Should have went with the 38/38 though. Hindsight….
