If you ever wonder how are prices could be 40% less than competitors..... A recent customer was quoted $350 an hour for a tow vessel responding from over an hour away. Thats Response time, tow time, and return time. We charge the same way, just in true time. Competitors pricing was raised due to increased Marina fuel costs. We get the increase in cost. We do not use Marina fuel. We are the small guys. We have to keep costs low. We trailer fuel in, or trailer to the gas station. We are mobile. While trailering to our latest call, we charge less for trailer time. This also cut half the response time. We charge by distance, not time. Why? Time can be manipulated, distance cannot. While they have raised prices for the uninsured, or under insured, we are keeping our prices the same. Our office is in the home, most of our maintenance is out of home garage and driveway. Our niche is the uninsured or under-insured, and services not covered under competitors memberships. We also charge less, not more for the commercial fleets
