Well Guys, If this was a normal world, and certain events didn't transpire, we would be sitting here celebrating another successful east coast nationals weekend today. But as we know, that wasn't in the cards for us. It's hard to believe it has been a year since the last 5th scale race has run at darc speedway. Sadly in the year that has passed by, we have learned several things on why we were ousted. To sum it all up, it involves shady deals, another RC sanctioning group, and basically being lied to our faces. I know in this politically correct world, I should not be saying these things, But I felt it was time to shed some light on these things. I will not go into further details or divulge names on this subject, but to this day it still hurts all of us on how it ended, and why it ended the way it did.

Looking ahead, our search for a new property didn't pan out either, and we have pretty much accepted fate and realize we will not be able to have another track again.

We hope all of our racers are doing good out there, and we wish you the best for the rest of 2016 and beyond. We will leave this page up, as we know from time to time you may want to relive memories of this place. In closing we will leave you pictures of our last sights, taken back in august 2015. Mother nature did not take long to reclaim the track.

just an update for everyone, we're still looking for a new home, however we do have a few things in the works, and we will let you know when we have things in concrete.

A Statement from all of us at Darc Speedway




First and foremost all of us at Darc Speedway want to thank our fellow racers and followers for attending the 2015 east coast nationals. While the amount of racer entries at the event were lower than expected, we still had good, exciting racing and down right fun time. However as the old saying goes, “ All good things must come to an end.” Unfortunately that time has come.

As we announced during the Saturday’s drivers meeting, a few weeks prior to the the 2015 east coast nationals, we were informed by the property owners that our lease would not be renewed in August, for the purpose of placing other entrepreneurial attractions on site. We spent a lot of time and effort trying to fight this. We did receive a conditional counter offer, however it was one that we could not financially afford. As a result, the 2015 east coast nationals, and nolimit rc events will be the last rc related events on the property for the foreseeable future.

I will admit, this past weekend of racing was hard for us, knowing that years of hard work, effort, blood, sweet and tears will be coming to an end. But from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for supporting us through thick and thin. While we have no home at the moment, we are working hard and checking for opportunities to relocate the tracks else where.

I also want to take the time to thank those who have helped make Darc Speedway one of the best 5th scale rc tracks on the east coast. Founders Henry Cross, Dustin Brown, Dan Bright and many others at the Diggers shop who passed the torch to us a few years later. And I want to thank my guys past and present for there dedication and hard work throughout the years. Ray Burris, Stan Gibson, Stan’s cousin Rob, Joshua Lindt, Jack Holister, Jady Baumgardner to name a few.

In closing, we will leave darcpeedway.com up for a few months longer, and we will leave our darc speedway page (facebook.com/darcspeedway) up for the foreseeable future to keep our racers and followers up to date on any potential new locations. Again we thank you for your support, and we hope to see you at a track in the future.
