From Gardner's to KSR, Prairie State Tractor to Heritage Tractor, the signs on the building have changed—but the heartbeat of the Pontiac location remained the same.
After a combined 𝟴𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of dedicated service, Tim and Mary Kelly are officially turning things over to the next generation.
𝗧𝗶𝗺 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆: 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Tim’s journey began on January 1, 1979, fresh out of the diesel mechanics program at Wyoming Tech. He started in the tractor shop as a technician for Gardner Sales & Service before bringing his expertise to the Parts Department.
Eventually, Tim stepped into the role of Service Manager, where he spent the remainder of his career ensuring our customers stayed in the field.
After 47 years of service, Tim still lives by his favorite motto: “If you do what you love, you never have to work a day in your life.”
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿
Mary joined the team in January 1987, starting part-time in the front office. Over the years, there wasn’t a job she didn’t tackle—from clerical work, bookkeeping, and payroll to pulling parts and helping with stock orders. Most recently, she served as our Service Writer, working side-by-side with Tim to keep the shop operations running smoothly.
