This weekends tips for Saturday and Sunday:
As the colder weather approaches , it's a reminder to check your batteries, washer fluid and tires and tire pressure as we lose air in the colder temperatures as well.
The use of rubber floormats will definitely help with all that slush and salt you'll be bringing into your vehicle.
As for the interior, a durable leather conditioner or fabric protectant like scotchguard depending on what your upholstery is made of.
Be prepared and take time to do these tasks and be ahead of the game 👍👍

Saturday and Sundays tip of the day :
The two bucket method is best option for preventing scratches being introduced into your washing procedure.
One for the wash and one with just water to rinse out your wash mitt to remove the dirt your mitt picks up.
Always put grit guards into the bottom of your buckets and keep the dirt locked into the bottom of your bucket and not back onto your wash mitt.
When cleaning your wheels, a grit guard is recommended as well to keep debris off you washing brushes and mitts.
So, I'd say three buckets, three grits will definitely help you out in the cleaning process.

Sundays tip of the day !
Having a hard time cleaning the lower parts on the inside of your windshield ?
Try the window cleaner tool from stoner car care.
It includes a mesh attachment for scrubbing dirt and grime and a microfiber attachment to wipe it all up.
Great for getting those areas in the lower corners and the bottoms.

Saturdays tip of the day :
When you wash your vehicle, it's always best to do the wheels first, then the liwet areas of your car since those are the dirtiest parts.
Then, proceed to wash from top to bottom and rinse thoroughly in the same manner and not in direct sunlight !

Super late tip of the day for last Sunday... Sorry for that🤷‍♂️.
Well here you go:
When cleaning your wheels, it's always a good idea, after you do your first round of cleaning to mive the car forward or backward in order to clean the area you might have missed especially behind the brake caliper. Do that to all four wheels .
As with adding a dressing to your tires, I like to use a water based dressing over a silicone dressing as it's less greasy and doesn't attract dirt as much.
When applying the dressing do the same forward or backward movement to rotate the tire to the area where you could not applying the dressing.
I try to use the air valve as a marker to know on where I left off but, it should be pretty obvious where you need to add your dressing.

Struggling with pet hair in your vehicles interior ?
Try this :
First dilute a solution of fabric softener and the rest with water.
This will not only soften the fabric, it will also stop the static reaction when vacuuming it up.
Spray the fabric and wait five minutes then vacuum it up.
Compressed air and an assortment of tools can help aid in the removal if needed,
Or you can just give me a call and have me take care of it ! 😄
Your interior will not only smell better, but it will be alot cleaner.

Yesterday's post, I spoke about wheel and tire cleaning tools and the chemical I use : Here's your tip of the day for Sunday :
Those three brushes can be used for the brake calipers, vehicle badges and front grilles as well.
I prefer to use the black tipped brushes for the brake calipers and the tan tipped one for the grille and badges as they are much softer and less prone to scratching.
Using your wash mitt along with your brushes can aid in flushing the dirt out and help scratches from occurring.
*Nothing more unsightly then having a freshly cleaned exterior to only have embedded dirt around those areas 👀

Good morning and happy Saturday!
Here's your Saturdays tip of the day:
When washing a vehicle, start with the wheels and tires first.
They are the closest to the ground and usually the dirtiest part along with the lower areas as well.
Purchase an extra wash mitt SPECIFICALLY for your lower vehicle panels.
As for your wheels, a seperate bucket with an assortment of wheel and tire brushes with a grit guard to help keep dirt from being put back on your wheels. These are just for the wheels and tires ONLY!!
I personally use an extra set of microfiber towels to clean in the smaller areas that a brush cannot access.
I'll post the tools this afternoon and what they are used for !
