No headers? Stock cats? Sure, why not! For those who might be wondering…this is what you can expect on your CT5VBW when you throw a mild cam and heads at stock intake, stock manifolds and stock cats!

Wanna know what’s even cooler? We tested our prototype intake on this bad boy after we tuned it on the stock airbox and picked up 23 at the wheels!

We will continue validating this intake on a variety of LT4 Blackwings and will soon be offering a “no tune” and a “race” version for the masses! Maybe even something out of carbon fiber…we’ll see!

For now, take a look at these gains. Not too bad considering the mods. Client absolutely did NOT want headers- and wanted our stage 1 cam for the ultimate in stock like driving characteristics. NO PROBLEM! Car drives completely like a stock car…until you mash the gas!

FLHP “NTR” Intake Swap, no other changes: 683/731

The biggest advantage you’ll see with our intake is HP and TQ carry much further through the pull. Boost actually peaked around 14 psi and drops to almost 12 psi on the stock airbox. With our intake, peak boost was right at 13.5 and held 13.5 without any issues. That’s what we call efficiency.

I can only imagine what this thing would do with a set of headers! All in all- fantastic build and more product development! WIN WIN….
