What a weekend. 🏁

Our crew chief, JD, made the drive up to Idaho and spent the weekend in the shop with us getting the new fuel cell fabbed in and ready to go.

This is the part people don’t always see…the long hours, the problem solving, the kids running around the shop and the people who are willing to show up to put in the work right alongside you.

JD, we seriously can’t thank you enough. You gave us your entire weekend and helped us knock a HUGE task off the Baja list.

Fuel cell is IN. ✅
One project down… about 47 more to go. 😂

Onto the next! 🤘

Some people buy a sports car for their midlife crisis.
We bought a 1970 Bronco in January and decided to race it in Cabo. 😂🏁

Totally reasonable.

This little Bronco has already been through it.

And somehow…

We’re just getting started.

The countdown to the SCORE Baja 1000 just got very real.

There’s still a list.

A very, very long list. 😂

Prep.

Safety equipment.

Navigation.

Communications.

Testing.

More testing.

And probably fixing the things we break while testing.

That’s off-road racing.

You don’t just build an Early Bronco and point it toward Baja.

You learn the truck.

You update it.

Then you go beat on it.

The biggest lesson we’ve learned so far?

👉 Seat time exposes problems the shop never will.

If you’re building something:

Get it on dirt.

Test one change at a time.

Pay attention to what gets hot, loose, noisy or weird.

Write EVERYTHING down.

We’re learning as we go.

Building as a family.

And documenting the entire road to the 2026 Baja 1000.

The wins.

The failures.

The questionable financial decisions.

All of it. 😂

Because apparently our midlife crisis needed checkpoints.

And a finish line in Cabo. 🌵🏁

Full hearts. Full shop. Race Bronco HOME. 🔥

Beyond grateful for our little family, our amazing friends and every single person helping us chase this crazy Baja 1000 goal.

Huge shoutout to Brad Jordan and Joseph States for hauling the Race Bronco home PLUS spending the weekend getting our comms + navigation dialed. 🤘🏼

One less giant thing on the Baja list because of good people willing to jump in and help. 🏁

The boys are fired up. We’re fired up.

IT’S BACK, BABY. 😮‍💨🔥

Our rowdy little Class 3 is finally HOME and it came back ready to raise some hell. 😈

The countdown is on, the to-do list is ridiculous and Baja isn’t getting any farther away. 😂

Time to turn some wrenches, make some noise and get this thing READY.

And a GIANT shoutout to Brad Jordan for hauling it all the way down to Pocatello so we can finally get to work!

The LEED Racing Bronco is COMING HOME. 🔥 Things are about to get wild around here! Expect build updates, live feeds, behind-the-scenes chaos and ALL the things as we get this thing ready for the Baja 1000.🌵🏁
