Meet Jamie Celentano, one of the 50 Faces of Colony Tire!

Before joining Colony Tire, Jamie worked for the shipping ports in New Jersey. Although Jamie grew up around the tire business, building a career in the industry was not originally part of the plan.

More than 12 years ago, Jamie moved from New Jersey to Raleigh and joined Colony Tire as an administrator. Since then, Jamie has had the opportunity to work alongside many great people and learn every aspect of the business.

Today, Jamie proudly leads both the Raleigh and Staley locations.

Jamie is incredibly grateful for the opportunities Colony Tire has provided throughout the years and has always admired Charlie’s leadership and the way he put his people first. That example continues to influence the way Jamie strives to lead each day.

Thank you, Jamie, for the leadership, dedication, and years of commitment to Colony Tire!

Fall mornings are getting cooler, which means two popular vehicle features are back in the spotlight: heated seats and remote start. 🍂

One warms you up once you are inside. The other helps make your vehicle more comfortable before you even open the door.

If you could only choose one for your fall and winter drives, which would it be?

Meet Mann Pippen, one of the 50 Faces of Colony Tire!

Before joining Colony Tire in 2009, Mann spent 21 years with Coastal Lumber Company, where he served as chief pilot and corporate environmental, safety, and risk manager.

Mann came to Colony Tire as Safety Director and Risk Manager, taking on the company’s insurance responsibilities during his very first week. The move also brought a major transition from the highly supervised safety environment of a large forest-products manufacturer to the very different world of the service industry.

Throughout his time with Colony Tire, Mann has especially valued the people, the family atmosphere, and the challenges that come with continued growth.

For years, Mann told new-hire classes that “Colony is not just a company; it is a family.” After all this time, he still believes that today.

Thank you, Mann, for being part of the Colony Tire family and the story behind 50 years!

Today, on National Farmers Day, we recognize the hardworking farmers who help feed, support, and strengthen our communities.

Their work begins early, ends late, and continues through changing weather and every season of the year. We appreciate the dedication it takes to keep farms, families, and communities moving forward.

Help us celebrate by leaving a message of appreciation, or tag a farmer in your community you would like to thank!

Fall drives should come with colorful views, not questions about your brakes.

Watch for signs that your braking system may need attention:
• Squealing or grinding sounds
• A soft or vibrating brake pedal
• Pulling to one side
• A brake warning light
• Longer stopping distance

Have you ever noticed one of these warning signs?

Tell us which one caught your attention first.

October is Fall Car Care Month, and shorter days make your vehicle’s lights especially important.

Take a few minutes to check your headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and hazard lights. Having someone help you complete a quick walk-around can make it easier to spot a bulb that is not working properly.

Have you ever discovered a burned-out bulb because another driver told you?

Today is World Smile Day, and sometimes a little courtesy on the road is all it takes to brighten someone’s day.

Letting another driver merge, giving a friendly wave, leaving extra space, or showing patience in traffic can help make the road better for everyone.

What is one kind or courteous thing another driver has done that made you smile?

🌧️ The storm has passed, but is your vehicle ready for the next drive?

After rough weather, take a moment to look over your vehicle before getting back on the road. Tire condition, brakes, lights and wipers, and any new noises or warning lights can all be worth paying attention to.

And remember: never drive through floodwater when you cannot tell how deep it is.

What's the first thing you check after a rough-weather drive?
