It’s been a little while since I posted any updates for the long term projects in the shop. The 69 Mustang Mach 1 is starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. After replacing roughly 75% of the body on it, painting, wiring, plumbing brake and fuel lines I’m pretty much down to finishing the window installation and the rest of the interior. Hopefully to get it finished up this summer. The 1941 Plymouth PT115 truck has also come along ways. Full rework of the frame, Mustang II front suspension installation, 4 link install to a 8.8 For Explorer rear axle, 2017 Dodge Challenger 5.7 Hemi with some nice aftermarket touches mated to a Tremac T56 6-speed manual transmission. The gas tank has been relocated, lower rear fender rebuilt, new headlights relocated further out on the 1940 front fenders to the correct 1941 location, 2024 Ford Ranger rear seat fab in to sit nicely in the cab. Then of course new wide whitewall tires to go on the new rims. Still a ways to go, but progressing nicely. And then finally after 15 year my 1950’s Coke cooler finally got some paint back on it!
