It is normally used in homes where the fuel tank is stored inside. It can be used in outside tanks but the risk of gelling may occur due to cold temperatures. Mixing it with kerosene or using an additive may lower the risk of gelling but is not guaranteed. We deliver Fuel oil to homes, businesses and farms. We are conveniently in most areas twice a week. Unlike fuel oil, kerosene can withstand cold winter temperatures. Kerosene does not gel when temperatures drop. Therefore, to prevent damage and headaches in the heart of winter, Kerosene is recommended in outdoor tanks. Kerosene is also most commonly used for monitor heaters. We deliver kerosene to homes, businesses and farms. We can deliver diesel and off road diesel fuel to your home, business and farm. Off road diesel and highway diesel are the exact same product ( #2 ULSD, 15 ppm Sulfur ) for use in all diesel vehicles and engines. The difference is in the road tax paid on highway diesel and off road diesel must have red dye added to give it a red color.
