Located at 102-100 East Maple Street in downtown Plattsburg, the license office is under the management of Liz Brooks with Tinnenโs grandson, Steve Tinnen, as the agent. As a result of COVID-19, the Plattsburg License Office has remodeled their business space and re-organized their operation. The entry way has now been enclosed with two walk-up windows installed. The driverโs license area has been
remodeled making it its own space. The lobby of the License office has two more working spaces for clerks. Another addition because of COVID-19 is their door greeters Donna Bonebrake and Kari Stayton. They greet every new customer in the Town Hall space (100 East Maple St.) and triage their needs after reviewing their documents. Both have become valuable members of the team where verifying documents is essential to the operation.

The location is very familiar to Steve since he has spent many hours growing up in what used to be Tinnen Motor Company. Steveโs family business was a staple of both Tinnen households with his dad, Skip working side by side with his dad H. until 1963, when they sold the dealership. When Steve was born his middle name included Ford. His dad was named fee agent in 1993 by Governor Mel Carnahan. The location has remained the same since 1993 with Steve being named agent in 2009.
