1963 Pontiac LeMans 4 cylinder, a V8 cut in half basically, known as the "Trophy 4". It also has a 2 speed transaxle in the rear. The customer just bought this car the carburetor was flooding and leaking. He had two other carburetors, one was new but not exactly the right base, and the other one was used but was the correct carburetor. I combined the top half of the new carburetor with the new gaskets and internal parts with the lower part of the old carburetor, rebuilt it, installed it back on the vehicle, and made all the necessary adjustments. The car runs great, and has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder!

It's been quite a few years but we're back to work on the yellow bird😆 It's been sitting too long, not driven and would not start. We found contaminated fuel and had to pump out the bad gas from the tank, fuel lines, and the carburetor. After trying new fuel, we found that the carburetor is restricted internally and needs a rebuild...

I found the original build sheet for this 1981 Corvette on top of the gas tank when removed from the vehicle. That piece of paper glued on top of the gas tank survived for 45 years!

After diagnosing this 1981 Corvette for a poor running condition. I found a clogged/restricted fuel pickup tube screen in the gas tank causing a fuel pressure drop after it running for several minutes, resulting in the engine losing power from lack of fuel. After further inspection, I found the fuel sending unit gasket leaking, the mounting fl**ge rusted, and found rust and moisture in the gas tank from that. In a couple of the pictures you can see the flashlight shining through the screen on the new one next to the old one, you can't see any light through the old one. The new fuel tank, the sending unit and seal are on order. I also installed an electric fuel pump with adjustable regulator.
