Just finishing up a service on a set of Northern lights/ JD 4045 generators onboard this beautiful 112’ Westport before a trip to the Bahamas. Oil change,valve adjustment, heat exchanger cleaning, raw water pump and replacing belts and adding a spare behind the Pto for emergency access.

Heat exchanger replacement on this Northern Lights generator. This one was full of rubber impeller and had no zincs left in it. The divider had holes causing water to bypass and not make a full loop through the cooler. Call DieselWorx Marine to ensure your engines are running cool 😎

We will be updating our Facebook with a few of the jobs we’ve completed over the last few months!
Such as resealing these CAT 3512 exhaust manifolds. During our inspection and cleaning process we uncovered quiet a few cracked bellows and corroded manifold sections that needed to be replaced. To most it may just be an exhaust leak but to us it is a drive pressure loss, thus leading to degraded efficiency of the engine and a major introduction of carbon monoxide into the engine room atmosphere. Let us keep your engines and crew members safe!
