New C8 Z06 in for PPF, correction, and a Nxtzen ceramic — and yeah, it's basically brand new. Days old.
People always ask what makes a PPF install last, and honestly? It's not the install itself. It's all the boring stuff that happens before the film comes out.
We spent hours on this one just getting the surface ready. Full wash, decon, iron remover, clay — the whole routine. Then a detail brush through every inlet, vent, mesh panel, and gap on the car, and the Z06 has a lot of those. It's tedious and nobody ever takes pictures of it, but it matters. Anything we miss gets sealed under the film, and that's the kind of thing that shows up six months down the road as a lifted edge.
We also did a light correction before the film went on. Even brand new cars come off the dealer lot with some swirl marks, and we'd rather fix them now than trap them under PPF for the next decade.
PPF and finished shots coming soon — stay tuned.
