Full Time Lot Attendant / Detailer Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant and Auto Detailer to maintain our dealership's vehicle inventory and lot. Both positions will assist in receiving new shipments, ensuring all accessories are included, and moving and arranging vehicles to optimize space. You will ensure new, used, wholesale, and awaiting title vehicles are parked in designated lot areas, as well as those waiting for maintenance, cleaning, gassing up, and washing.
To excel in this role, you must be accountable and prudent in performing your duties. Ideal candidates are proficient multitaskers, organized, and can perform with a high level of accuracy. Experience is preferred but not necessary; learn the knowledge of dealership policies is helpful.
Lot Attendant Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend and participate in training and meetings.
Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and trash-free lot.
Arrange and park vehicles in designated lot areas.
Ensure dealership license plate frames are affixed to vehicles.
Verify new vehicles display factory and addendum stickers and selling price.
Oversee and maintain keys.
Replace sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory, ensuring marketable vehicles are displayed first.
Inform supervisors of issues as they arise.
Comply with all company policies and procedures per handbook.
Lot Attendant and Detailer Preferred Requirements:
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
Proficiency in typing, emailing, Microsoft Word, and basic software and computer programs for dealerships like CDK and Vauto.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to fill out documents legibly.
Ability to drive manual (or learn) and automatic transmission vehicles.
Completion of drug and background screening.
Ability to follow basic written instructions.
Outstanding organizational skills.
We offer full-time and part-time positions, with a starting pay of $14 -$15 based on qualifications and experience. Pay rates vary for full-time and part-time positions.
