What’s the day-in-the-life of a Sales Coordinator at The Pete Store?
We caught up with Brittany Ragans, Sales Coordinator, Richmond, VA and she spilled the tea!

A broad overview of my position includes: Truck Logistics, Sales Support, Marketing, and a whole lot of team work.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is seeing genuine customer satisfaction. There is no finer sense of accomplishment, than when you see a truck that you helped process, be put to work!

My job has enabled me to learn the intricacies of the business side of the trucking industry. I have a much more intimate understanding of what truckers go through to establish, register, and operate their business successfully.

What’s the day-in-the-life of a Shop Foreman at The Pete Store?
We caught up with Alex Vizcaya, Shop Foreman in Greenville, SC and he spilled the tea!

My responsibilities are to assign work and make sure it gets done on time as promised. I make sure techs stay busy and on task throughout the day. I work with the Service Writers to schedule trucks for shop repairs and provide them with updates on the status of every truck in the shop.

The satisfaction of seeing customers happy is fulfilling. Being a Shop Foreman is worth a career investment because it is rewarding in many ways: you get to build customer relationships and perfect skills such as organization and planning.

Say Hello to Heather Sullivan, Service Manager, The Peterbilt Store – Boston.

Heather began her journey with The Pete Store in 2017 after finding a job posting on Indeed. Even though Heather did not have experience in the trucking industry, she did not let that stop her from hitting the submit button on her application. “When I applied, it said ‘willing to train,’ so I figured my winning personality would get me in the door,” Sullivan laughed.

When Sullivan first started in 2017, she was a Service Writer - but as of November 2020, after three years, she has been promoted to the role of Service Manager. “Heather was the clear choice because of her dedication to the job and her ability to connect with not only our customers, but also our staff. Heather shows our technicians the level of respect they deserve and in return, they do the same for her. She is a great example of someone that owns their role and the decisions they make daily,” said Matt Preston, Vice President, New England.

Outside of The Pete Store, Heather is a family-oriented, of two, with an adorable grandson named Matthew.
