Commissioned by a single customer through Porsche's Sonderwunsch personalization program, this factory one-off Flachbau RS reinterprets the legendary 935 "Moby Dick" race car which earned icon status after racing in the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Nearly three years in the making, the project brought together experts from Sonderwunsch, Style Porsche, Weissach, Porsche Motorsport and Manthey to create a truly unique sports car.

Now, the finalists for the 2026 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge have been named.

Whether focused on Preservation, Restoration, or Individualization, these projects reflect an extraordinary commitment to craftsmanship, technical expertise, and Porsche heritage. The finalists will travel to Fayetteville, Georgia, this week, where National Champions will be selected during Luftgekühlt at Town at Trilith.

For 2027, Porsche Track Experience is expanding its range of driver training programs at Barber Motorsports Park and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Two new courses at Barber, GT Drift and Masters GT, will be centered exclusively around the Porsche 911 GT3, offering new opportunities to develop car control and advanced driving skills with professional instruction.
