ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and honest automotive technician to join our team. This is not a high-volume “hurry up” shop — we are a quality-first operation that takes the time to do every job right the first time. Projects are still expected to be completed within a reasonable timeframe, but craftsmanship always comes first.
The right candidate will leave every vehicle looking like it was never touched — or better than when it came in.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficiency on GM LS and LT platforms (required)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience
• Ability to produce clean, detail-oriented work on every job
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Honesty and personal accountability
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PLUS: Performance build experience
• PLUS: Enthusiasm for performance vehicles
• PLUS: Drivability and diagnostics experience
• PLUS: Mopar platform experience
• PLUS: Ford platform experience
• PLUS: Wiring and wiring diagnosis experience
COMPENSATION
Starting compensation is in the $75,000/year range. The right candidate with the right skillset and motivation can easily reach six figures. You will not start there, but if you prove your worth, you will be compensated accordingly.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Regular hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees are expected to arrive between 8:00 and 8:15 AM to allow time to prepare for the day and connect with coworkers. The workday ends at 5:00 PM, followed by cleanup before leaving.
OUR CULTURE
After 27 years in business — built from the ground up without outside investors or family backing — we know what it takes to find the right person. We are not necessarily looking for someone with 30 years of experience, but we are looking for someone with proven skills, real-world experience, and the right character.
We value:
• Honesty — if something goes wrong, own it and communicate upfront
• Accountability — someone who looks in the mirror before pointing fingers
• Professionalism — punctuality, consistency, and pride in your work
• Collaboration — working well with others is a must
