Sad to report our friend and colleague, Clay Richardson, passed away suddenly January 21st. Clay worked with me for 20 years and was the face of Pittsfield Tire. Clay was a great family man who was so proud of his 3 boys. I watched as they grew into men and Clay would always let me know if they had a good ball game or report card. Our thoughts are with Mary Ellen, Cody, Bradon & Camren. I remember the time Clay traveled to Nashville with me to attend the Goodyear Dealer conference. Clay loved NASCAR and loved Jimmy Johnson. It was a great surprise that Jimmy was at that conference and Clay got to meet him in person. We had so much fun. The entire family of Pittsfield Tire will miss him dearly.

Congratulations Miguel Estrella on receiving his free set of tires. Pittsfield Tire participated in Project Joy Ride. This program let Pittsfield Tire give back to our community. Miguel was selected after being nominated by Habitat for Humanity. Miguel is resilient, he has had to be. His hard working mom has been juggling three jobs since he was six. Responsible for getting himself off to school and warming up his dinner that his mom put out between jobs he became self-sufficient.
His family lived in public housing and the kids on the block became his family. Sometimes those family connections lead to problems. Problems that Miguel wanted to get away from but didn’t have the access or supports to make the break. Relationships are everything when you live in a world where there is not enough.
