When it came to capturing the moon over the Duquesne Incline this week, the third time was the charm. Monday morning clouds rolled in at exactly the wrong time, yesterday it was pouring down rain, but today? Today the conditions were perfect...almost.

Why almost? Well, the moon lined up with the incline perfectly at just before 6:00...and the incline opens at 6:00. That meant that the incline wasn't moving on the tracks, but at least it was still visible at the upper station. Always love when I get a chance to capture it along the hillside as well.

If I'm being honest, I'm kinda glad that the moon didn't work out until today. See the previous two days I would have had to be further up the Allegheny River for this alignment, which means that the Trimont building would have been in the frame as well. But since I was below Heinz Fie-, err, I mean Acrisure Stadium for this view, I was able to isolate the incline.
