We get asked this one a lot!
The short answer? No, adding a remote starter doesn't automatically void your factory warranty!
There's actually a federal law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act that helps protect you when you use aftermarket parts.
Basically, a dealership can't just throw out your warranty because you installed a remote starter. If the starter or its installation causes a problem, they may deny coverage for that specific issue. But installing one doesn't cancel your whole warranty!
And here's something else to feel good aboutโฆ ๐ก๏ธ
We offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all the parts we install! That's peace of mind long after you leave our shop.
So go ahead and enjoy getting into a warm car on those cold Pittsburgh mornings.
