What was once our annual signature event, “For the Love of Pets Day,” has evolved into a drive‑through clinic to better meet the needs of our community.
The demand for these services has grown far beyond what the shelter can support on its own and serve the county from its location.
When families are forced to consider surrendering a pet because rising costs make vet care feel impossible, or because paying a medical bill might mean risking their own housing or food security, it’s heartbreaking.
We’re grateful for a shelter that shows up for our community, and for the partners who help support this work so the clinic can reach as many county residents as possible. These changes to the October mega‑clinic are welcome, needed, and will make a real impact for families who love their pets but need a little help keeping them safe and healthy.
