Alright folks........it's Friday night so time to race some WOMPS & JK Indy cars.
Doors open at 5:00PM with WOMPS up at 6:00PM followed by JK Indy cars & 4" flexi NASCAR.

Last night we had some fun with the gang and ran an I.R.O.C. race.
1st - Myke Weinstein 198
2nd - Rick Rochette 196.12
3rd - Tom Eckert 194.05

5th - Gary Johnson 186

This past Monday we had some great racing with all the gang.
First up was 4.5" Unlimited Hardbody stockcars.
1st - Corky Craver 234
2nd - Guy ateniese 225
3rd - Garrett Morgan 222
Way to go Garrett on the podium!!

Next up was the 4.5" Nostalgic Hardbody Stockcars.
In qualifying it was Tommy Fabian with a fast lap of 4.034
Garrett Morgan won the Hardbody Stockcar 32 Nestles Crunch car donated by Chad Mervine.

Track time is $20.00 for the entire evening if you have your own car & controller.

Our Bracket Drag racing starts around 6:00PM

Alright folks......tonight we run the following classes.
6:00PM - 4.6 Breakout
7:00PM - TransAm/ GTO Hardbodies
8:00PM - Asphalt Modifieds

Last night we had some fun on the drag strip while several folks were at the track working on their cars and getting a little practice in.

In drag racing it was Chris Bauerle winning the light money with a reaction time of .0014 in the first round on the last pass.
I got to join in with the guys and ended up finishing 2nd.
Any payout I gave to the 4th & 5th place finishers.
Here's how they finished.
1st - Ed Klean's Del Rio
2nd - Fast Eddie's 66 Charger
3rd - Ed Kean's Monster Mustang
Great time racing with everyone.

We also made a pass with Dwayne's Chevy Pick Up truck pulling the weight sled. Who is building a truck pull truck??

This past Monday we had an awesome group of racers at the track.
First up was the Unlimited 4.5" Hardbody class.
1st - Corky Craver 235
2nd - Guy Ateniese 221
3rd - Rick Ogrodowski 213

Up next was our regular 4.5" Hardbody Stockcars
Witrhb originally 15 racers it was Guy Ateniese winning the pole with a hot lap of 4.033 while qualifying on green.
It was great having Kevin Colborn joining in the fun from Indianna.

Monday 8/17
Last Monday we had a great crowd racing the Hardbodies Stockcars on the HUGE Tri-Oval.
First up was 4.5" Unlimited Hardbody Stockcars.
1st - Corky Craver 235
2nd - Guy Ateniese 229
3rd - Myke Weinstein 217

Next up was our regular 4.5" Hardbody Stockcars with 19 racers.
TQ went to Guy Ateniese with a fast lap of 4.015 while qualifying on orange.

Wednesday 8/19 - Bracket Drag Racing
It was Ed Klean winning the light money in the first round with a reaction time of .0011.
It was great having Kirk & Chris Speery joining us again for some Bracket drag racing.
In the end here's how they finished.

Great close racing throughout the night and a huge thanks to everyone that came out to race with us.

We had some great racing on the Tri-Oval with all the gang.

We are working on building a truck pull class for after Bracket Drag racing.
Dwayne McCoy built the weighted sled and this is his Chevy PU truck.
Our experiment should have been done with another controller besides a drag controller that's on & off. It needed to be gradually brought up to speed but you get the logistics of it any.
