The harvest is upon us and our 3rd Annual Harvest Fest is THIS SATURDAY, Sept. 12 2-7pm. Start with a tour of the grounds noting alternative building methods (cordwood, timber frame, earthship),; multiple solar applications; gardens; labyrinth; field regeneration and more. Participate in scythe harvesting of oats and threshing; milling acorn flour; help with cider pressing; kids' nature BINGO; live music with Devil Dodger; seed sharing station in the pavilion and the finale with a POTLUCK MEAL at 5:30pm as we gather round the table family style and enjoy and celebrate the harvest! Bring your dish to share from your harvest/ farm market harvest. Join the fun and friendship. Come for all or part of the time.

A fine good morning it is and greetings to you! Just an invitation to visit the Community Impact Fair THIS SATURDAY 11am-2pm at the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley School cafeteria/commons. Many other vendor resources set up to learn how to better engage with the community. Do a little sidewalk art w/ chalk and have a snack. There will even be a voter registration table. ALL ARE WELCOME! Stop by and say "HI" to Balsam Moon Preserve.

We're in our final month of Summer and the last PIZZA NIGHT is THIS FRIDAY! WOW! We provide crust, sauce, cheese blend, iced tea/water/lemonade.
