A new exhibit at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio, explores the people, culture, and shared leadership behind Harley-Davidson’s remarkable revival in the 1980s and 1990s.

“We Did It Together: A Harley-Davidson Leadership Story,” features the work and contributions of former Harley-Davidson CEO and AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Richard Teerlink and chronicles the company’s journey from near-bankruptcy in the 1980s to massive market success in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Cutting the ribbon on a brand-new exhibit!

Ann Teerlink officially opens the We Did It Together — A Harley-Davidson Leadership Story with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. The exhibit takes museum goers through the life work of former Harley-Davidson CEO and AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Richard Teerlink.

Motorcycle Ohio, a program of the Ohio Traffic Safety Office, will present two “Saved by the Helmet” awards in partnership with the American Motorcyclist Association Hall of Fame at their Fall Bike Night on Oct. 17. The award is given throughout the year to those who survive serious crashes while wearing a helmet.

Running all day on Saturday, Oct. 17, the Hall of Fame is hosting a variety of exciting opportunities for motorcyclists, including:

Ride-in bike show, awards at 6:30 p.m.

All proceeds from AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Night go to the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports the Hall of Fame.
