Have you noticed more “borderline total loss” conversations lately?

Rhode Island is now moving toward an 85% total loss threshold, which means more vehicles that might have been totaled are now expected to be repaired.

That sounds like opportunity for shops, but it also means more heavily damaged vehicles, more complexity, and more insurer pushback on the edge cases.
