The newest 992.2 GT3 Touring (introduced for model year 2025, but this one being a 2026 model) follows in the footsteps of its predecessors in delivering a no-nonsense solution for those who value a precision driving experience combined with superb build quality, unmatched reliability, and peak residential value.

When equipped with the 6MT, there is currently no other manufacturer building new cars who can deliver the same experience for less than seven figures. (Admittedly I’m happy to answer the call if Gordon Murray Automotive ever decides to move down market!)

The GT3 Touring, especially in GT Silver Metallic, is the ultimate low-key sleeper. Beneath the unassuming exterior hides a screaming 9K RPM naturally-aspirated Flat-6… a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the ultimate middle finger to anyone seeking attention and influencer approval over driving substance. In 1995, the first Porsche I ever purchased was a 944, and the love affair has been strong ever since.

The 968 was the halo car of the 4-cylinder transaxle series, combining the muscular haunches of the 944 with the 928’s pop-up exposed headlights.

Only 2,234 968 coupes were imported to North America between 92-95, and it’s estimated that only 64 of these were Slate Grey Metallic, one of the most beautiful Porsche colors over the years, and now only available via the “paint-to-sample” program.

This particular 968 has only 44K miles since new, and is believed to be one of only 20 cars produced in Slate over Classic Grey leather. It is further enhanced by a 6-speed manual transmission, two-family California ownership since new, and loads of maintenance documentation and fresh service items completed.

Due to a more accessible price point when new, many 968s were originally purchased for “daily driver” status, so it’s getting very difficult to find low mileage documented examples with original paint.
