**“I’ll get it checked when it gets worse.”**

That’s a sentence we hear too often—and these photos show what “worse” can look like.

A noise that seems minor can lead us to broken differential gear teeth and metal in the housing. A vibration can reveal a damaged bushing. A brake concern can uncover a heavily scored rotor. And an engine issue that goes unchecked can become a much larger repair.

A proper diagnosis helps find **what’s causing the symptom** while you still have options. An inspection can reveal wear or damage you may never see from the driver’s seat.

If your car is making a new noise, leaking, shaking, or driving differently, don’t wait for a breakdown. Let’s find out what’s going on.

FRIDAY — When Did You Last Check This? 👀

Here’s one of those things almost nobody thinks about…

Windshield washer fluid.

Until you press the button and nothing comes out. 😂

Between Phoenix dust, bugs, dirt, and road debris, having a clean windshield isn’t just about appearance — good visibility matters.

So here’s today’s extremely scientific FC Auto Experts survey:

👇 When did you last check your washer fluid?

A️⃣ This week
B️⃣ Sometime this month
C️⃣ I honestly can’t remember
D️⃣ Mine is probably empty right now 😭

And yes… D absolutely counts as an answer.

Tag the person whose windshield always looks like they just drove through a dust storm. 😂

Be honest…

Do you actually use your parking brake?

A lot of drivers put the vehicle in Park and never think about it again.

But the parking brake is there for a reason.

Using it — especially when parked on an incline — provides an additional way to keep the vehicle secured instead of relying only on the transmission’s parking mechanism.

It’s a small habit that only takes a few seconds.

So let’s see how many people actually use it:

👇 Which one are you?

A️} Every time
B️} Only when I’m on a hill
C️} Almost never
D️} Wait… I’m supposed to? 😂

Phoenix drivers, tell us the truth.

Does putting premium fuel in your car automatically make it run better?

Not necessarily.

Higher-octane fuel is more resistant to engine knock. Some vehicles require or recommend premium fuel, while many are designed to run perfectly well on regular fuel.

Putting 91 octane into a vehicle designed for 87 does not automatically mean:

❌ More horsepower
❌ Better fuel economy
❌ A cleaner engine
❌ Longer engine life

The best place to start is with the fuel grade recommended by your vehicle’s manufacturer.

Now we want to know what Phoenix drivers are actually using:

👇 What are you putting in the tank?

A️} 87
B️} 89
C️} 91
D️} Whatever is cheapest that day 😂

Bonus: Comment your year, make, and model and let’s see what everyone drives.

You walk outside and notice a puddle underneath your vehicle.

Should you be worried?

Not necessarily.

Some fluid underneath a vehicle can be completely normal — such as clear water from the A/C system.

Other fluids may indicate a leak involving:

🔴 Transmission fluid or, on some vehicles, power-steering fluid
🟢🟠 Coolant
🟤 Engine oil
🔵 Washer fluid or certain types of coolant
💧 A/C condensation

The color, location, smell, and consistency of the fluid all help us determine what may be leaking.

👇 What color fluid have you seen underneath a car before?

Red? Green? Brown? Clear?

And did you ever find out what caused it?

Drop your answer in the comments — someone else may have experienced the exact same thing.

🚨 **A little brake noise can turn into a much bigger repair.**

Brake pads don’t usually fail overnight. They wear down gradually, and once the friction material gets too low, you can start damaging the rotor and other braking components.

That’s why catching brake wear early matters — both for **safety and repair cost**.

Here’s the question:

👇 **When do YOU normally have your brakes checked?**

A} Every oil change
B} When they start making noise
C} Only when something feels wrong
D} Honestly… almost never 😅

No judgment — we want to see what most drivers actually do.

At **FC Auto Experts**, our goal is to help you catch problems before they turn into bigger ones.

🚨 Sometimes the most expensive repair starts with “it should be fine.”

We recently had a vehicle come in with a failed CVT transmission. Before it made it to us, the customer had been told by someone they trusted that the issue was probably something simple. So they kept driving it, thinking it wasn’t anything serious.

The problem is, the vehicle was already giving signs that something was wrong. Without checking the actual cause, the damage kept getting worse until the transmission failed internally.

We’re not saying family or friends mean wrong — most of the time they’re just trying to help. But with vehicles, guessing can get expensive fast.

Noises, slipping, jerking, delayed movement, leaks, warning lights, or overheating should never be ignored. A proper diagnostic can be the difference between catching a problem early and paying for a major repair later.

Don’t wait until the car makes the decision for you.

📩 Message FC Auto Experts and let’s get your vehicle checked the right way.

🚨 **This tire looked perfectly fine from the outside… but the inside was almost completely worn out.**

The cause is often more than just an alignment. Worn **control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, or struts** can allow the wheel to move or sit at the wrong angle, quietly destroying the inside edge of your tire.

You may not notice the damage until the tire blows out, loses traction, or causes you to lose control—especially on wet roads during monsoon season. 🌧️

**A good-looking tire does not always mean a safe tire.** Let **FC Auto Experts** inspect your suspension, steering, alignment, and inner tire wear before hidden damage puts you or your family at risk. ⚠️🚗

🚗 **Is your vehicle vibrating while idling or shifting into gear?**

These pictures show **torn hydraulic motor mounts**. Many motor mounts are not just rubber—they are also filled with hydraulic fluid to help absorb engine movement and keep vibrations from transferring into the vehicle.

Once the mount tears or leaks, you may notice:

🔧 Excessive vibration
🔧 Clunking when shifting
🔧 Engine movement during acceleration
🔧 Shaking through the seat or steering wheel

Ignoring a damaged mount can put extra stress on the transmission, axles, exhaust, hoses, and wiring.

At **FC Auto Experts**, we properly diagnose the source of the vibration before replacing parts.
