Sometimes you gotta stop chasing the next goal and just sit back and appreciate how far you’ve already come.
I started with a vision. No guarantees. No shortcuts. Just faith, hard work, and the decision to keep going no matter how many times life tested me.
A lot of people don’t know this, but I’m the one behind these builds. I’m the one customizing these cars with my own two hands. I taught myself the skills to be able to do almost anything to a vehicle from the bottom up. I never wanted to master just one thing. I wanted to understand the whole car, learn every part of the process, and become as complete as possible at my craft.
And when I say I do it all, I really mean I do it all. I’m the owner, the installer, the assistant, the photographer, the videographer, the content creator whatever position my business needs me to be that day, I become it. From working on the car, answering customers, ordering materials, cleaning the shop, taking the pictures, recording the videos, editing the content and posting the finished build I wear every hat in my business.
It’s not always easy doing everything yourself, but there’s something special about being able to look at what you’ve built and know how much of yourself you put into it.
And I’m still learning. I don’t care how many years I’ve been doing this or how much I already know — there’s always another level. I’ll continue learning, improving, and pushing myself to master my craft. That’s what AZCUSTOMZ was built on.
But more than anything, I work hard for my kids. I’m determined to be the father I never had and to break that cycle. I’m not a perfect father. I make mistakes, but every day I try my best to be more patient, to listen, to be present, and to be the dad my kids deserve.
I want my kids to grow up knowing their dad gave everything he had to build something for them and, more importantly, was there for them. I want them to see that you can teach yourself, build something from nothing, and that where you come from doesn’t determine where you’re going.
I couldn’t have done this with out God. God knew my plan before I did.
