Steve will be out of the shop the rest of this week in Washington DC! He'll be attending training courses, continuing his education, and meeting with some of the leading automotive parts manufacturers in the industry. Staying up to date on the latest technology, repair techniques, and products is a big part of what allows us to continue providing the level of service our customers expect from State 48 Autohaus.

In the meantime… send a little extra patience our way. 😂 Connor and I will be holding down the fort and running the shop ourselves this week while our fearless leader is away.

This BMW X3 came in with a leaking suspension system, so we got to work. We replaced the failed components with genuine electronic suspension, restoring the ride and getting it safely back on the road.

This Range Rover came into the shop with lean mixture faults, and we traced the issue back to a failing PCV valve.

During this repair, there’s another common problem we’re always prepared for...the original plastic coolant pipes can become brittle with age and heat. 😬

Instead of replacing old plastic with more plastic, we upgraded the pipes will new upgraded metal ones for a stronger, longer-lasting repair.

✔️ PCV valve replaced
✔️ Updated metal coolant pipes installed
✔️ Problem addressed the right way

It’s not just about fixing what failed, it’s about knowing these vehicles well enough to anticipate what can fail next.
