After surviving an Arizona summer, your car deserves a checkup too. 🔧

The heat may finally be backing off, but everything your European vehicle went through over the last few months does not magically disappear in October.

This is a great time to look things over, catch anything that needs attention, and head into Arizona driving season with a little more confidence.

Steve will do the looking. You enjoy the cooler weather. ☀️

Heard something scary? 👀
A clunk.
A squeal.
A grind.
A noise that definitely wasn’t there yesterday.
Your car is usually trying to tell you something.
Steve’s advice is simple: don’t ignore it.
Catching a problem early can mean the difference between taking care of something now and dealing with a much bigger repair later.
At State 48 Autohaus, we believe in honest answers, proper diagnostics, and helping you understand what your European vehicle is actually telling you.
Scary car problems. Honest answers. 🎃🔧

A/C working sometimes and not others? There’s usually a reason. 👀
This Audi came in with intermittent A/C, and Steve went looking for the cause instead of just chasing the symptom.
The issue led back to the cooling fan assembly, and once Steve had it out, the problem was pretty clear.
That’s the difference between guessing and diagnosing.
Sometimes the answer is buried a little deeper. 🔧
If your European vehicle is doing something it shouldn’t, let the State 48 team take a look and figure out what’s actually going on.

This is our kind of fall. ☕️🌵☀️

Cool mornings, European cars in the shop, and Arizona finally giving us weather worth talking about.

Steve and Becky built State 48 around taking care of people just as much as taking care of their cars.

So whether you are heading north for the weekend or just enjoying the cooler commute, we hope you get out and enjoy it.

If your European car needs a little attention first, you know where to find us.

Arizona fall hits a little different. ☀️

No snow tires. No scraping ice off the windshield.

Just cooler mornings, desert drives, and finally wanting to be outside again.

It is also a pretty good time to make sure your European vehicle is ready for the miles ahead.

Enjoy the weather. We'll help take care of the car.

No tricks. Just honest repairs.

That's kind of the whole point of this place.

European cars are serious business. The people who own them deserve a shop that's straight with them — clear explanation of what's going on, fair pricing, and work that actually gets done right.

Steve built State 48 around that idea from the beginning. It's still why people come back.

BMW. Audi. Mercedes Benz. Volkswagen. Porsche. MINI.

If you're looking for dealership-level expertise without the dealership experience, this is the place.

Something haunting your European car? 👻
Maybe it’s a warning light.
Maybe it’s a strange noise.
Maybe it’s something under the hood that just doesn’t feel right.
Whatever it is, guessing usually isn’t the answer.
At State 48 Autohaus, we’d rather slow down, look at what’s actually happening, and give you an honest answer before a small problem turns into a much bigger one.
Because car problems can be scary enough without the mystery. 🔧🎃

No A/C was only the beginning. 👀
This VW Beetle came in because the air conditioning stopped working.
Once Steve got under the hood, he found the bigger story.
A leak had gotten onto the belt, and over time that belt started shredding.
That is why the right diagnosis matters. Fixing the symptom is one thing. Finding out why it happened is what helps keep the problem from coming right back.
New belt. Address the leak. Fix the actual cause. 🔧

That temperature gauge climbing isn't something to sit on.

Overheating problems in European vehicles can go from inconvenient to expensive fast. What starts as a coolant issue can turn into something a lot more serious if it's not caught early.

If your BMW, Audi, Mercedes, or other European car has been running warmer than it should — or you've already seen the warning light — let's take a look before it becomes a bigger deal.

Cooling system. Radiator. Hoses. Water pump. We know where to look.
