Bonneville 2026!

One of many photos from the week. We had a pretty amazing year even with the bike issues/breakdowns/broken parts.

We had 4 riders ride the experience bike and they did awesome! Every single one was able to get their 100 mph coin! Now for them to come back with their own bike and really make it happen. (Photos of them to come) Special thanks to Jim Higgins for his countless hours with making this bike run.

The Buell Sisters S2 had its own issues and a full day on the lift. After some fixing and welding she was back on the track. We were able to get a new record in the P-PG1350 class of 141.520mph. The last record was in 2021, so this was a hard fought for record. We had some incredible help from Berry Wardlaw and Jim cole. We couldn't have made this record happen without their help.

Over all it was a great week and now to not so fun part.....cleaning everything!

I was born in the wrong era!

1948 was the year racing officially resumed in Daytona after the war. During the war, hard-core racers and servicemen on leave showed up for "Outlaw" non sanctioned races held on the beach.

NOTE TO ALL THE KEYBOARD MECHANICS:

The vise is bolted to the bench through a 2 inch receiver hitch. Yes it moves a little, Cry Harder.

Yes I have Map Gas, Propane, and Oxy/ Acetylene torches, this method is another great option. And guess what, it worked, Cry Harder.

Yes, I used a Crecent Wrench, and it worked, Cry Harder.

Yes, I used candle was on a stuck 50 year old fastener, and it worked, Cry Harder. (After soaking it in penetrating oil for a week.)

It doesn't get much better than breaking something loose that's been together longer than I've been alive!

Also, what's up with the mad faces? Are you made that it worked or at your life choices?

The Bolt Buster and candle wax to the rescue!

Shout out to Kevin Thibado for making life easier with the Bolt Buster!
