This truck came in with a cracked C notch causing the bed to hit the cab. This can be a simple fix if the problem is caught early enough. In this case the frame was broke completely in half on both side sides. To repair this the correct way we chose to install a Phoenix Kustoms step notch. It’s a little tricky install when the truck currently has a welded C notch and a broken frame. This customer was using the truck for work and constantly hauling a landscape trailer. So we chose to do a custom airbag load helper support with two cross bars between the step notch. With some jobs you’re only as good as what you’re working with and in the case we were chasing someone else’s work. This truck was turned out when I was off, so I only have a few pictures. But it turned out amazing and the customer will never have issues again. Lifetime Warranty on our notches.

Here we have a 2008 Silverado 1500 that came in for a Rough Country 7.5 inch lift kit, OE forged upper control arms and traction bar install. We also installed new CV shafts and lower ball joints because the current ones were toast. To get it rolling smooth we went with some 20x12 XM wheels wrapped with Toyo M/T 35x12.50r20 tires. There is some trimming required on this set up and it takes some time to make it look nice. When your truck leaves our shop, the last thing we want is some nasty trimming to make the tires clear.

It’s a Wrap. We had a Ranch truck in for some Matte Brown Metallic (M209) treatment. We only use 3m 2080 material with a five-year warranty. We always take time to make sure our wrap jobs turn out the right way first shot. The key to a beautiful wrap is all in the prep work. The newer the vehicle, the faster the turn out. An older vehicle like this that has seen some abuse in its life is usually a one week turnaround time; drop off Monday morning and pick up Friday afternoon. Clean little OBS came for a quick and easy 3/5 drop. This was achieved with 3 inch drop coils in the front along with flip kit, lift shackle and rear shocks. This is the drop we always recommend when the customer is trying to go with the wides to get some poke. I must say we have been doing a lot of these lately and the look is definitely growing on me.

When you’re Denali truck has a magna ride suspension that no longer works, we can solve that problem with a lowering kit. We did a 4/6 drop on this truck with front drop spindles and adjustable height struts. This set up can go anywhere from 3 to 5 inch drop on the front. In the back we did a flip kit, lift shackle, low profile bump stops, rear shocks and shock extenders. This will give you a lowered stance with a great ride. To do this set up the right way we always recommend using a Magdelete.com kit to avoid any lights on the dash.

A little Jeep XJ came in a month back and we did a RC 3” lift. It was not big enough so he came back for a little extra boost. He supplied his own 2.5 inch lift spacer for the front and rear lift shackles. This is not something we would normally do, but we have worked with this customer many times in the past. It is always best to buy the correct lift size the first go around. It is not recommended to turn a 3” lift into a 5.5” lift due to many more parts needed to do it the correct way. So we made brake line brackets, swaybar links, track bar mount and several other tricks to get it right. At the end of the day, the vehicle left our shop driving right with a happy customer.

We also installed the RGB whip lights when we were installing the 3 inch lift.
