Shine District and I went hard Wednesday on a double attack! Two older rigs rolled in needing some correction and protection, and we were ready for the challenge.

We brought that older paint back to life, removing as many swirls, scratches, and imperfections as the paint would safely allow before locking it all in with a ceramic coating for long-lasting protection and easier maintenance.

As always, we laughed, talked shop, and before we knew it, two rigs were pulling out looking their absolute best with that signature Electric Shine.

Oooooooof! This client called and said, “Hey, I need my little grandma car detailed.”

Turns out the “little grandma car” was a 2026 BMW Z4 with only 700 miles on it.

What she really meant was: Protect it at all costs.

This stunning BMW was finished in the iconic Thundernight Metallic purple, and our mission was simple—maximize gloss, preserve the finish, and make maintenance as easy as possible for years to come.

After a full paint enhancement, we protected just about every surface on the vehicle with a premium ceramic coating:

✅ Wheels, barrels & brake calipers

We also helped coordinate the vehicle’s window film installation before coating the glass—a huge advantage for the tint installer and ensures the coated surfaces aren’t disturbed during the tinting process.

Proud sponsor of the Show N Shine that started it all for me.

I’d say my first Show N Shine was around 1996 or 1997, put on by the Stray Angels. My dad took me every year. My grandpa’s International won plenty of trophies, and my dad always packed a cooler full of snacks so we could make a day of it.

Those early years, surrounded by classic cars, chrome, and good people, are what got me all revved up for life. They sparked a passion that eventually became a career.

It’s pretty special to now be a sponsor of an event that helped shape who I am. Thank you to the Stray Angels for keeping the tradition alive and inspiring the next generation of car enthusiasts, just like they inspired me.

This week we had a random job dropped off, customer said no rush I know you’re busy! That’s when my Right hand Jennifer came in and said, paper work is caught up how about I work on those seats! Gave her a quick run down on our interior steam extraction process and I continued to polish out a 70s land yacht.. few hours later these 2000 ford ranger seats were looking great and ready to head to the upholstery shop to get the tear repaired! Happy customer and shout out to Jennifer, who isn’t “ technically “ a detailer but most definitely has a passion for it and knowledgeable on the process and loves to tackle a new job- and will do anything to remove something off my list! That was a lot of ands…. Because she wears a lot of hats around here!

This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner came in to get DIALED IN before car show season hits!

This is the third Plymouth from this family to receive a paint correction and ceramic coating this month, and I have to admit—this one was my favorite. The color, the styling, the attitude... this car is just cool.

The biggest challenge was the matte black hood. A previous owner had attempted to hand wax it, which is definitely not how matte paint should be maintained. I was able to even out the finish as much as the paint would allow, and the customer was thrilled with the results.

To finish it off, we protected the paint with our IGL Arcane ceramic coating, adding long-term protection, incredible gloss, and a slick, easy-to-maintain surface.

I can’t wait to see what classic rolls into the shop next!

Client came in just wanting to fix the terrible event that happened on the hood. While I would have loved to have been able to do the whole car, sometimes you gotta match the clients budget. Single stage paint stains easy, keep it from getting dry my classic friends! Call the shop and ask how so you don’t end up with defectives only a paint job will fix! Happy client shiny hood, hopefully it does burn outs 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
