Finished the 79 headlight bezels a while ago but just getting around to posting the pics. Polished and put a black enamel pinstripe on them. Customer is happy and I’m happy @

A lot of men imagine that having a woman into cars/trucks that can turn a wrench, restore/polish classic auto trim and is thrilled with getting an intake manifold for her wedding anniversary would be awesome!
But the reality of it is after spending 6-8 hours in the garage getting absolutely filthy and tired I don’t want to cook. In fact it’s more likely there’s fender badges cooking in the oven-not dinner. And the sink is full of dirty dishes because there’s engine parts in the dishwasher. Oh and good luck taking a shower cause I’m probably wet sanding in the tub 🤷🏻‍♀️
Honestly, I wish we could afford a topless maid. Because I wouldn’t have to clean and my husband wouldn’t mind paying for it

Just finished doing the enamel on a tailgate ribbon. I love this stuff because once it’s set, it will never fade, peel or crack. But it’s not cheap! Along with the cost of the product I have to pay customs tax because it comes from Canada. It’s worth the money in the long run because it’s going to be just as beautiful 20+ years later
